Light filled public library

This public library is situated on a campus of public school buildings in Gando, a village in the west African country of Burkina Faso. The library, along with the surrounding school buildings, were designed by Kere Architecture, a firm led by Gando native, Diebedo Francis Kere.

Lake Retba

A pink lake!!
Lake Retba or Lac Rose lies north of the Cap Vert peninsula of Senegal, north east of Dakar.
It is so named for its pink waters, caused by Dunaliella salina in the water. The colour is particularly visible during the dry season. The lake is also known for its high salt content. (Thank you wikipedia)
