I love these images and was going to try and write something about Graciela Iturbide myself, but then i found this quote and decided it said it all.

"Graciela Iturbide is considered one of the most important and influential Latin American photographers of the past four decades. Her photography is of the highest visual strength and beauty. Graciela Iturbide has developed a photographic style based on her strong interest in culture, ritual and everyday life in her native Mexico and other countries. She continues to inspire a younger generation of photographers in Latin America and beyond."

Most Hollywood actors and a fair few music superstars have done it - agreed to appear in a dodgy advert that, I'm sure they're assured, will only ever air somewhere in Asia or Europe. Magic! They can then cash in on slightly uncool endorsements without harming their domestic cred. Uma Thurma is a queen of these, ever seen this Honda ad? But my favourite so far is this Jacko beauty. Loving the double wink at the end.
